Havre des Dominicains is an expansive and integrated project that provides an ideal environment for children, parents and retirees alike to relax and enjoy life in a peaceful atmosphere.
To the south of the project, visitors can relax in a large wooded park with natural trails snaking through a forest of mature trees and a stream that flows gently alongside the bicycle path that runs through the park. Perfect for nature lovers; no detail has been spared to ensure the prominence of the forest and the preservation of the park's wildlife habitats.
For those with excess energy, a recreation park, complete with soccer field, tennis courts, a chalet and ample parking area, will be built in the heart of the sector. The park will be bisected along its border by a bicycle path that will meet up with Casavant Boulevard to the south.
In the near future, the recreation park will be annexed to the "Pinède des Pères Dominicains" park; a charming environment where visitors can simply relax or daydream the afternoon away. Several other neighbourhood parks will complete the vast inventory of green spaces and will be ideally positioned to allow for easy access and, more importantly, to offer relaxing and natural vistas while circulating throughout the sector. Our promise is to provide the greenest community in all of Saint-Hyacinthe.
To ensure that your everyday existence is as simple as possible, the Douville elementary school, Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, the Saint-Hyacinthe Golf club as well as numerous commercial establishments are all located within short distance from the Havre.
The Havre also provides easy access to Autoroute 20 (only 30 minutes from the Lafontaine tunnel), to downtown Saint-Hyacinthe via Laurier Boulevard and to the shopping centre to the north via Casavant Boulevard.
Country living in the heart of the city, what more could anyone want.
